Newspaper, one of the popular WordPress themes, has been updated to version 8.1.1, which includes a fix to an XSS vulnerability issue. It's recommended to update to the latest version to avoid any security issue.
What's new in the new version:

Recently, tagDiv Composer was introduced to Newspaper, improving the performance of the site rather than using Visual composer.
Currently, Publisher, another magazine style theme, is used in this blog. Publisher, I think, is more easy to configure and cheaper than Newspaper.
