Can Brizy page builder be an alternative to Elementor?

In the WordPress page builder market, Elementor has an overwhelming dominance. A few years ago, there was discussion about whether a builder called Brizy could be an alternative to Elementor.

However, while in 2021 the number of sites installing Brizy was around 90,000, three years later, the number of users has actually decreased to around 80,000.

Monopoly in any market is not desirable for consumers. The same is thought to apply to the page builder market. As Elementor overwhelms its competitors, users have little choice.

Brizy had competitive pricing compared to Elementor three to four years ago, but now it seems that the price advantage has significantly diminished.

A few years ago, when Brizy announced the end of its lifetime license, I decided to purchase the Brizy lifetime license after much deliberation. Now, it seems that the lifetime license has been discontinued and is no longer for sale.

Below is the current price list for the Brizy page builder.

While Brizy is slightly cheaper than Elementor, it seems difficult to find sufficient advantages to justify purchasing Brizy.

Brizy page builder was installed on about 90,000 sites in 2021, but now the number of users has decreased to around 80,000. Comparing the download numbers of the Elementor page builder and Brizy builder, Brizy's downloads are at about 1/100th the level of Elementor's.

Perhaps because of this, Brizy seems to be focusing more on Brizy Cloud than on the page builder itself. Having tried the free version of Brizy Cloud, it felt similar to Wix but seemed to fall short in terms of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) compared to WordPress.

Alternatives to Elementor

If you're looking for an alternative to Elementor, the Divi theme using the Divi Builder could be an option to consider. The Divi theme offers a lifetime license and is competitively priced compared to Elementor.

In terms of features, Divi theme does not seem to lag behind. In fact, it introduced features like the Theme Builder before others, and now you can use the Theme Builder function on the frontend as well.

The Divi theme, boasting sales figures similar to the Avada theme, is one of the best-selling multipurpose themes.

For web agencies, web designers, or web developers, the Divi theme can be a cost-effective solution. The Divi theme offers a Lifetime license, so there are no recurring costs each year.

If you want fast speed, not using a page builder might be advisable. Elementor is considered one of the faster page builders, but installing and using Elementor can inevitably slow down your site and may cause conflicts with other plugins.

If you want the freedom to customize with the block editor, you might consider using Kadence Pro and Kadence Blocks plugins together.

The Kadence theme is evaluated as a fast theme, similar to the GeneratePress theme, making it suitable not only for building commercial sites but also for blog sites.
