Siteground applies a uniform discount across all shared plans
On March 16th, Siteground will apply a uniform discount across all shared plans. This will lead to even better prices for the GrowBig and GoGeek plans. Siteground will apply 60% discount for all the prices in USD and GBP and 50% for EUR and AUD.
It seems that the prices have been lowered from $7.95 to $5.95 for the GrowBig plan, and from $14.95 to $11.95 for the GoGeek plan.
One of my friends uses Siteground and told that it's stable and its performance is good enough. Most especially, it seems that they offer good support.
According to the PC Magazine review, Siteground's advantages include improved performance and security, automatic backups, excellent customer and good uptime in testing. However, storage and bandwidth are limited for shared plans. And there are no Windows server options (but no problem if you run WordPress sites.)
I think the Siteground shared hostings will be ideal for sites with 10,000 visits, 25,000 visits or 100,000 visits monthly respectively.
I am using the Bluehost VPS plan for this blog. If I migrate to Siteground's GoGeek, I will be able to save money. (However, I am currently satisfied with Bluehost and my account has been renewed recently. Maybe, I will consider changing it to Siteground when the current account will be expired.)
If you are looking for a web-hosting service with cheap but relatively good resources for your WordPress websites or other purpose, you may consider Bluehost. When you purchase a Shared Hosting or VPS plan of Bluehost by clicking the reference web links on this article, I will earn some commission. But I do not advise a particular service just for commission; I've been using of FastComet, GreenGeeks, StableHost and other hosting services as well as Bluehost for several years.
