Convert, Compress and Resize Images in One Place with PixRefit

Preparing images for a website can take several steps: changing the format, reducing file size, adjusting dimensions and giving every file a useful name. PixRefit brings those tasks together in a free, browser-based image tool.

You can select JPG, JPEG, PNG or WebP images and convert them to WebP or JPG. You can also keep the original format while applying other changes. The images are processed in your browser; the files you select are not uploaded to the site’s server.

What can you do with PixRefit?

  • Convert image formats. Choose WebP, JPG or the original format for your output files.
  • Adjust image quality. Use the quality slider when creating WebP or JPG files to balance file size and appearance.
  • Resize images. Set a percentage or a maximum width. PixRefit preserves the image’s aspect ratio and does not enlarge images that are already narrower than your chosen maximum width.
  • Rotate or flip images. Turn images left or right by 90°, rotate them 180°, or flip them vertically or horizontally.
  • Process files in batches. Select up to 15 images, then arrange them with the up and down buttons before processing.
  • Rename files in order. Enter a shared name to create numbered files such as product-photo 01.webp and product-photo 02.webp.
  • Download the results. Save eligible files individually or download them together as a ZIP.

What makes PixRefit useful?

A format converter handles one part of image preparation. With PixRefit, you can choose a format, resize and rotate your images, adjust quality, put files in the right order and name the results in a single workflow. That is especially handy when preparing a set of images for a WordPress post or product page.

The download rules also make the results easier to assess. For WebP conversion and keeping the original format, PixRefit offers a download when the processed file is smaller than its source. If you choose JPG conversion, the download remains available even when the new file is the same size or larger, since changing the format may be your main goal.

How to use PixRefit

  1. Open PixRefit and select or drag in your images.
  2. Choose WebP, JPG or the original format.
  3. Set the quality, resizing and orientation options you need.
  4. Arrange the files and turn on batch renaming if you want numbered filenames.
  5. Process the images, review their before and after sizes, then download individual files or a ZIP.

PixRefit accepts files of up to 10 MB each, with a limit of 15 files and 45 MB combined. The quality slider does not affect PNG output when you keep the original PNG format. If you convert a transparent PNG to JPG, transparent areas become white. Animated images and some specialized files are not supported.
